The Systems Engineer, is responsible for providing SME support, which includes planning, installation and administration of Workplace Management. \u2022 Plan, implement and support Patch Management and Software Distribution services
\u2022 Provide administration of back-end infrastructure services with focus on PC Imaging
\u2022 Support desktop and server related escalations pertaining to Workplace Management tools issues
\u2022 Perform Quality Assurance testing for changes to endpoint devices
\u2022 Contribute to the streamlining of daily operational processes, such as automations
\u2022 Ensure smooth running of daily operations
\u2022 Update and maintain proper documentation and reports
\u2022 Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 At least 5 years of experience in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Power Shell, Group Policy Objects and SCCM
\u2022 Extensive knowledge of PC Imaging Deployment, Patch Management, Software Distribution for desktop and server devices
\u2022 Ability to work in a heterogeneous environment
\u2022 Strong analysis and design background with sound documentation experience
\u2022 Experience in deployment of similar functions, such as IBM Big Fix or LANDesk
\u2022 Working experience with MSI technology, Application Packaging\/Deployment processes and methodologies will be an added advantage
\u2022 In-depth knowledge of custom actions, scripts, scenarios based solution and regressive troubleshooting in Windows
\u2022 Installer Technology
\u2022 Proficient in troubleshooting skills
\u2022 Effective communication skills
