The Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the equipment in Microsoft Windows environment, VMware, AD, DNS from design through implementation and support. The incumbent performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment.
The incumbent also provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair\/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Provide on-site and remote support to troubleshoot and resolve computer and telephony related issues when contacted by clients
\u2022 Perform regular maintenance to maintain software applications and operating systems
\u2022 Manage the assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
\u2022 Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and external vendors to provide technical assistance and support
\u2022 Supervise the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users
\u2022 Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 At least 5 years of experience in Windows System administration
\u2022 At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Active Directory administration and implementation
\u2022 Experience in security patch\/fix management and deployment
\u2022 Experience in deployment and installation of Windows Server 2008\/2012
\u2022 Good knowledge of system level monitoring, performance tuning and enterprise backup solutions
\u2022 Proficient in troubleshooting skills
\u2022 Effective communication skills
