\uf0b7 Expertise in Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of Server Side and Application Side issues.
\uf0b7 Deploying Unix\/Linux packages and bug fixes to Test\/PreProd\/Production Environments.
\uf0b7 Adhere to change management requirements for implementations of enhancements\/change requests.
\uf0b7 Responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of Unix\/Linux\/Solaris\/Redhat\/AIX\/SUSE administration to meet the business needs and service level.
\uf0b7 Manage operation changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
\uf0b7 Provide 1st and 2nd level operational Unix\/Linux\/Solaris\/Redhat\/AIX\/SUSE support.
\uf0b7 Assist and respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &\/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
\uf0b7 Ensure service level meet requirement. Propose and implement action plan when required.
\uf0b7 Involve in the implementation of service continuity measures, i.e., backup\/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
\uf0b7 All other Unix\/Linux administration responsibilities as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0b7 Diploma\/Degree in Information Technology\/Computer Science or equivalent.
\uf0b7 Minimum 3 years of good working experience on Unix\/Linux\/Solaris\/Redhat\/AIX\/SUSE administration in an enterprise level environment.
\uf0b7 Strong Knowledge with experience in RedHat Clustering and Oracle Solaris Clustering.
\uf0b7 Strong Knowledge with experience in scripting tools\/language such as Perl, Ruby and AWK.
\uf0b7 Good knowledge of System management tools and practices.
\uf0b7 Experience in disaster recovery practices and procedures
\uf0b7 Ability to work closely with various technology teams in dynamic and fast-paced environment.
\uf0b7 A good team player with the ability to work independently.
\uf0b7 Strong personal work ethic with an aptitude for analysis and problem solving.
\uf0b7 Possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
\uf0b7 Ability to learn in a fast paced environment, multi-task, perform under pressure, and be a strong team player.
\uf0b7 Experience supporting Singapore government agencies with security clearance.
\uf0b7 Willing to work in 12 hrs Shift if necessary
