Responsibilities
Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Application Packaging using toolsets such as Wise Package Studio and Admin Studio in Windows Win10/ Win11 environment
• Packaging a wide variety of desktop applications including Client/Server, Web-based, and bespoke applications and other related components in an SLA driven environment using InstallShield (MSI, MST, Conflict Management, Custom Actions, VBScript_
• In-depth Knowledge of regressive troubleshooting in Windows Installer technology
• Creating application packages using various packaging approaches such as Setup Capture, creating MST, response file, silent install, etc.
• Repackaging and customizing the applications as per the client requirement in Windows Installer format and supporting all phases like Source Validation, Creating packages, QA, UAT, and Production Deployment
• Extensive exposure to the complete life cycle of Software Packaging
• Good knowledge of VB Scripting, PowerShell Scripting, AutoIT, SMS Installer, and Batch scripting
• Hands-on experience with InstallShield, VMWare, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Application Virtualization Sequencer
• Good working knowledge of Troubleshooting Tools like Picture Taker, InstallRite, Procmon, process explorer, Office Customization Tool, Adobe Customization Wizard, and Orca
• Experience in deploying and managing the application using Microsoft technologies (SCCM/MECM/Intune/BigFix)
• Create and maintain machine-based collections and advertisements in SCCM for application deployment testing
• Microsoft Office 365 – Experience in application support, administration, and troubleshooting, including Office add-ins
• A good understanding of networking, IT infrastructure & hardware.
Soft Skills:
• Effective & strong verbal and written communication skills with a real focus on customer service and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Able to collaborate, communicate and work effectively with remote cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• A proven experience in large-scale IT environments with good technical proficiency combined with a strong problem-solving ability
• Preferably 5+ years experience in application packaging technology
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering/Information Systems
• At least 5 years of experience in Windows System administration
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Active Directory administration and implementation
• Experience in security patch/fix management and deployment
• Experience in deployment and installation of Windows Server 2008/2012
• Good knowledge of system level monitoring, performance tuning and enterprise backup solutions
• Proficient in troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills
• Self-driven and ability to work independently
