Desktop Support Engineer

Summary of the role

Desktop Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support for desktop and laptop, as well as basic troubleshooting of IT infrastructure related support.


• Responsible for providing IT infrastructure related on-site support
• Provide first level on-site support through the helpdesk system and coordinate with higher level support team in problem solving
• Manage customer expectations and achieve customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with Basic MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Basic administration of Active Directory and File Sharing
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned


• Diploma in IT Technology or its equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in related field
• Experience in setting up Desktop/Laptop, Imaging Software and Network Printer
• Experience in Helpdesk support is a plus
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure related, Desktop/Laptop/Network/Wifi
• Basic knowledge of Network, Server and Security will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Operating System is required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive with ability to work independently
• Willing to learn and take on new challenges
